Community News

Trunk-or-Treat!

Our annual trunk-or-treat event is Saturday, November 1, 2025!

Prizes will be awarded for best decorated trunks!


Food and Coat drive

We’re collecting donations of non-perishable food at the farmer’s markets on November 10 and 24. Food will be distributed by the Trinity UCC food pantry on November 12 and 26.

There will also be a rack to donate and receive gently used winter coats, gloves, and scarves. If you need one, take one!


Tree Lighting in Carsonia Park

Join us at Carsonia Park on Saturday, December 6 at 7pm for our annual tree lighting! Enjoy caroling, refreshments, and of course Santa!

In 2011, a group of enthusiastic community members founded the Antietam Valley Community Partnership (AVCP) with the goal of improving the quality of life in the Antietam Valley and surrounding area. Each year we have seen positive changes in the image, spirit, character, and pride within our community. It is our hope that you share this same spirit and goal.
